Text Box: GLBT Literary Stuff (invaluable resources for readers & writers alike):
RLDBooks.com - "Independent Gay Writer" webzine run by the uber-wonderful, kind, supportive gentleman & fine writer, Ron Donaghe.  Check it out for new cutting edge GLBT writing as well as insightful articles by luminaries like Patricia Nell Warren.
The Lavender Salon - Links to every Gay & Lesbian writer out there.  Discovered Jim Tushinski on this site, so it's aces in my book.
Stonewall Society -  Len Rogers is a peach.  Stay tuned for their annual "Pride in the Arts" awards where your vote actually counts (even in Florida).
Books to Watch Out For - Carol Seajay & Richard Labonte put out two newsletters each month (one for the ladies, one for the gents) packed with succinct reviews of stuff you won't see anywhere else.  They both love to read & it shows.  Subscribe.
Stellar Grub (living in the land of shameful plenty, too many gustatorial temptations...two all time favourites):
Bloodroot Restaurant - The world's best vegetarian restaurant - no debate.  Who am I kidding?  This is the world's best restaurant...period.  And it's a bookstore, too!  I'm so lucky it's only ten minutes from where I live.  If you're ever in Southern CT, I insist that you pay them a visit.  It's sure to please even hardcore carnivores.
Chester of Provincetown - My idea of the perfect P-Town day - Autumn.  A couple hours combing the shelves of Tim's Used Bookstore, followed by a barefoot walk on the nearly deserted beach, cocktails by a smoky fire in that funky, teeny-weeny little bar at A-House & finally a late supper at Chester.  Paradise.
Metro Area Mayhem (legends & lore from neighboring lands):
Forgotten New York - Everything you never knew about the City that never sleeps.  Makes one sad for all that's been lost in the name of progress & modernity.  Source of endless wonderment.
Weird New Jersey - Go on...just click the link, even if only to watch big Willie wave while they load (not near as exciting as it sounds).  Wild & wacky phenomena from the Garden State.
Beautiful Boys ("Had the price of looking been blindness, I would have looked."  -- Ralph Ellison, 'The Invisible Man'):
Treborhealey.com -  Lyrical poet/novelist, serene & gentle soul (quite fit, too).  Go to the website & buy his amazing book, "Through It Came Bright Colors," then we can all go for a swim in the clear blue sea of his eyes.  (Oh yeah, read the Tour Journal  - it has me quite convinced that Trebor & Billy might just be the 21st Century's answer to Jack & Neal).
spriteboyworld.com - Sunny, funny journal writ large by NYC's tiniest hipster.  (If you didn't exist, I would have to invent you.)
The Gus - I've followed this pioneering blogger from his days as a callow youth at Big Fun, a party house in rural Virginia, to Santa Monica during the dotcom boom, back East to the Big Apple where he wooed & won the lovely Gretchen, Jewish lesbian poet from Park Slope.  They are now married, living, loving & blogging, "randomly ever after," in the Catskills (always marching to the beat of their own drum corps).  Gotta love that.
Groovy Groups (Too many to list individually.  Opted for friends only):
The Zambonis - All right, I'm no sports fan (as a matter of fact, I think the "competitive spirit" is indicative of everything that's wrong with the Western world) but these hockey rockers are good friends, great musicians & funny as hell.
Taking Back the Airwaves (break free of the Corporate Media Giants):
WPKN Radio - Weirdly eclectic, wildly political, completely liberated radio by the people & for the people.  Commercial free, not one cent of corporate sponsorship, all volunteer staff.  The best radio money CAN'T buy.
